President of the Riigikogu Eiki Nestor expressed condolences to the close ones of the Estonians who died in the terrorist attack in Nice, France.
“Today we bow our heads in mourning in memory of the lives that were taken violently. This time, this nonsense has touched us here in Estonia more than before. We sympathise with those close to the victims. Nothing can compensate for their loss. Let us stick together and be understanding in this sorrow,” Nestor said.
“What happened in France is violence against free people. Terror would win if we in our behaviour became like the perpetrators of violence. Good will always defeat evil. Deepest condolences to us all,” he noted.
