Hussar attends the inauguration of Pope Leo XIV in Vatican

President of the Riigikogu (Parliament of Estonia) Lauri Hussar will attend the inauguration mass of Pope Leo XIV in Vatican today as the representative of Estonia.

Pope Leo XIV, who is head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State, will be inaugurated in St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. The mass, which starts at 11 a.m. Estonian time, will be attended by many heads of state from around the world. After the inauguration mass, Hussar will attend the papal reception together with other heads of delegation.

Pope Francis died on 21 April, and the Conclave elected the new Pope on 8 May.
