I believe that our country can be taken to a new level in education, security, governance, health care, economy and energy. I also believe that, with the help of right decisions, Estonia and our people can be smart and prosperous as well as different and special. The work of the Riigikogu must focus on the Estonian people, to whom I want to give faith and hope that Estonia will go on, along the path of openness, wisdom and freedom.

Membership in representative bodies: 15th Riigikogu (President of the Riigikogu); Viimsi Rural Municipality Council, Chair 2021–2023

Awards: Swedish Royal Order of the Polar Star, Commander Grand Cross 2023; Grand Cross of the Order of the White Rose of Finland 2024; Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, II degree 2024.
