The studies presented at the Conference have been conducted in three fields of research of the Foresight Centre: productivity, (e-)governance, and labour market. The Conference will offer a first look into the results of the (e-)governance study.
The state reform and the development of e-state have advanced at a different pace in Estonia. Which development scenarios would we choose if we take a look at the options together and think about the future? Which investment patterns and value chains dominate in the Estonian business sector, and how are these linked to productivity? Does the expected demographic development in Estonia necessarily lead to a reduction in the available labour force on the market? What were the reasons behind founding the Committee for the Future in the Finnish parliament years ago? How can we qualify its success?
These questions will be answered at the A Different Kind of Future Conference of the Foresight Centre. We look forward to seeing you there.
