The EU Affairs Committee Secretariat consists of six civil servants: head of the secretariat, three counsellors, consultant and counsellor in the European Parliament in Brussels. The tasks have been divided between the officials according to the policy areas of the European Union in order to enable clearer responsibility and better preparation of documents for the Committee.

Officials of the secretariat also participate in the weekly meetings of the European Union Co-ordination Council that prepares the EU dimension of the sessions of the Government.
