The Economic Affairs Committee is one of the standing committees of the Riigikogu. Pursuant to the Riigikogu Rules of Procedure Act adopted in 1992, the Committee on Economic and Agricultural Affairs was established; later, two separate committees were formed from it: the Economic Affairs Committee and the Rural Affairs Committee. Since 1993, the Economic Affairs Committee bears its present name.

Work of the Economic Affairs Committee:
• The Economic Affairs Committee has been the leading committee for about a hundred of Acts that are in force today, and also their amendment Acts. The Committee's field of work covers an extensive range of issues.
