The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Märt Rask gave an overview of the courts administration, administration of justice and uniform application of acts.

The Courts Act requires the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Riigikogu to give an overview of the courts administration, administration of justice and uniform application of acts .once a year in the spring session.  The report should be understood as the public form of cooperation of the judicial power with other branches of power in order to develop the principles of the rule of law. Mr. Rask stated that the legislator as well as the government have paid due attention to the concrete motions submitted in earlier overviews, and he expressed his expectations that such attitude would also be continuing in case of a new membership of the Riigikogu and the Government.

The Riigikogu decided to make amendments to the Disallowed Constructions Removal Act (1000 UA) which the President of the Republic refused to proclaim. The motion to amend was made to the plenary assembly by the Constitutional as well as the Legal Affairs Committee. 67 members of the Riigikogu were in favour of the amendment to the Act.
