The alternate member of the Riigikogu Siiri Sisask and Minister of Finance Taavi Veskimägi took the oath of office.

 

The agenda for the working week was approved. As the last item on the agenda of Wednesday?s sitting the first reading of the Bill on the Termination of the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Estonia and the Ukraine, the International Agreement between the Republic of Estonia and the EFTA States and the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Estonia and the Republic of Turkey (135 SE), initiated by the Government of the Republic, was added.

 

Prime Minister Juhan Parts replied to four interpellations.

 

The interpellations concerned the following subjects:

The interpellation concerning the lack of official county governors and the Government?s reform policy, submitted on June 30 by Member of the Riigikogu Toomas Alatalu; the interpellation concerning incorrect information allegedly disseminated to the workers of Kreenholm by Prime Minister about the rise of old-age pension age, submitted on August 25 by Members of the Riigikogu Mihhail Stalnuhhin and Siiri Oviir; the interpellation concerning the positions of Prime Minister and the document passed by the governing body of Res Publica in the matters of citizenship, submitted on August 25 by Members of the Riigikogu Mihhail Stalnuhhin, Vladimir Velman and Eldar Efendijev, the interpellation concerning the Regulation of the Government of the Republic No. 153 of May 14, signed by Prime Minister, submitted on August 25 by Members of the Riigikogu Mihhail Stalnuhhin, Nelli Privalova, Jüri ?ehovtsov and Eldar Efendijev.

 

During the open microphone Mihhail Stalnuhhin took the floor.

Urmas Reinsalu is on a mission in England, on October 6-9, sent by his political party, Toomas Savi is in Brussels as observer to the European Parliament on October 6-7, Sergei Ivanov is ill on October 6-7, Jüri Saar is at the opening of a hiking rail in Marimetsa bog in Läänemaa on October 6, Toomas Hendrik Ilves chairs a working group at the European Institute for Security Studies in Paris on October 6-7, Janno Reiljan is not present on October 6, in connection with his public appearance in Tartu, Jüri ?ehovtsov attends the IPU congress in Tehran on October 6-8, Märt Rask is not present on October 6-7 for health reasons, Peeter Kreitzberg is in Brussels as observer to the European Parliament on October 7-9, Mart Laar and Toomas Hendrik Ilves are in Brussels as observers to the European Parliament on October 8-9, Eldar Efendijev attends a conference in Narva on October 8, Nelli Privalova is in Tapa together with the delegation from Czechia on October 8, Mihhail Stalnuhhin is in Narva City Council on October 9, Eldar Efendijev is in Baku on October 10-19 as as observer to the elections of the President.

Mati Kepp takes part in the meeting of the Rural Affairs Committee of Member States and candidate states of the European Union in Rome on October 1-6, Liina Tõnisson attends the 30th COSAC Conference in Rome on October 4-8, and Tunne Kelam and Rein Lang are at the COSAC Conference on October 5-7, Tiit Matsulevit? takes part in the sitting of the Political Committee of the NATO Parliamentary Committee in Kiev on October 6-8, Olav Aarna takes part in the conference on information and communication technology in Berlin on October 6-8, Andres Jalak and Andres Lipstok are at a meeting in Brussels, organized by the European Parliament on October 7-8, Jaanus Marrandi and Tarmo Leinatamm take part in the seminar ?Reform of the Common Agricultural Policy? in Brussels on October 7-10, Helmer Jõgi takes part in the TAIEX seminar in Brussels on October 7-9, Peeter Tulviste takes part in the seminar in Helsinki ?Russia in the Context of Transition State? on October 8, Jaak Allik takes part in the sitting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Standing Committee and in the Autumn Conference and Mediterranean Forum in Rome on October 9-12, Imre Sooäär is at the agricultural seminar connected with the enlargement of the European Union in Cologne on October 10-25.
