Justices of the Supreme Court Indrek Koolmeister and Tambet Tampuu took the oath of office before the Riigikogu.

The Riigikogu passed with 76 votes in favour the Resolution On the Formation of the European Affairs Committee (39 OE). The European Affairs Committee is a select committee of the Riigikogu and the following members of the Riigikogu are included in the membership of the Committee: Eiki Berg, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, Tunne Kelam, Peeter Kreitzberg, Rein Lang, Maret Maripuu, Siiri Oviir, Jaanus Rahumägi, Janno Reiljan, Urmas Reinsalu, Vello Tafenau and Liina Tõnisson. The alternate members are: Tiit Matsulevit?, Katrin Saks, Peeter Tulviste, Enn Eesmaa, Raivo Järvi, Rain Rosimannus, Sven Mikser, Imre Sooäär, Rein Randver, Andres Kork, Jüri Saar and Mailis Rand.

The European Affairs Committee reports on its activities to the plenary assembly of the Riigikogu at least once a year and to the Foreign Affairs Committee at least once during a session. Nobody voted against the resolution and nobody abstained.
